Cookies on reliefpay.org.
This page explains browser storage used by the site and prototype, and the tools used to measure page performance. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
The short version.
- We use browser storage only to make the site and prototype work. Nothing is stored to track you across the web.
- We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels or session-replay tools. Vercel Speed Insights measures page performance without identifying visitors across pages.
- If we ever add cookies that require your consent, we will tell you through a banner and update this page first.
The full list.
Storage used by sign-in and optional prototype features.
- Sign-in session (Supabase)· reliefpay.org
Keeps you signed in to the prototype and refreshes your session. Not required to read the public pages.
Lifetime: Until sign-out, expiry or removal through your browser settings
- Optional proof wallet session· thirdweb.com (iframe), reliefpay.org (localStorage)
Only used by optional proof-demonstration screens if enabled; the card-first pilot does not require recipients to connect a wallet.
Lifetime: Until you sign out or clear browser storage
- Role preference (prototype)· reliefpay.org (localStorage)
Remembers which demo role (donor, recipient, vendor) you last selected.
Lifetime: Until you clear browser storage
- Vercel Speed Insights· Vercel, through a first-party script on reliefpay.org
Measures page loading and responsiveness, with page URL, browser, device and country information. Vercel describes these measurements as anonymous and not linked across pages to identify a visitor.
Lifetime: No persistent visitor identifier; measurements are sent to Vercel when a page loads
- Plausible Analytics (when enabled)· plausible.io
The site supports optional, cookie-free aggregate visit statistics on selected public pages. It is not used on programme dashboards.
Lifetime: No analytics cookies or browser storage
Read the providers’ details: Vercel Speed Insights and Plausible.
No entries. We will not add advertising cookies to reliefpay.org. This is a commitment on our principles page.
How to clear or block.
You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser. This may sign you out or reset prototype preferences; the public pages remain readable.
- Clear site data: your browser’s settings allow clearing cookies and storage for reliefpay.org specifically.
- Block storage: most browsers let you block cookies and local storage per site. If you block ours, the prototype will not remember sessions or demo preferences, but the public site will still be readable.
- Private browsing: using the site in a private or incognito window clears everything when the window closes.
For general guidance on cookie controls, see aboutcookies.org or your browser’s help documentation.
When this changes.
If we change the storage or measurement tools used by the site, we will:
- Update this page with specifics of what’s added and why.
- Show a banner asking for your consent, where consent is required by law.
- Never add advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. That is a permanent commitment.
